Quote Busters is a North Queensland solar broker. We compare solar and battery quotes from trusted, long-standing installers on your behalf so you can save time and money. Our service is free to you. You can reach us at [email protected].

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you — through our website forms, through lead forms on platforms like Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and when you contact us by phone or email. Where information is provided to us via a Meta lead ad, Meta passes us the details you submitted in that form.

Why we collect it and how we use it

We use your information to:

• Shop your job around our network of solar installers to get you quotes.
• Contact you about your enquiry by SMS, phone and email.
• Send you relevant marketing follow-up, which you can opt out of at any time.
• Improve our service and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

To get you quotes, we share your enquiry with solar installers in our network for the sole purpose of preparing those quotes. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate (for example, SMS, email and hosting providers), who are only permitted to use it to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information, and we won't share your details with anyone else for unrelated purposes.

Marketing and consent

When you submit an enquiry, you consent to Quote Busters (and KILR Studios as our marketing partner) contacting you by SMS, phone and email about your enquiry, including marketing follow-up. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message or by emailing us. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and will action opt-out requests promptly.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and to ensure it is accurate and kept only as long as we need it. Some of our providers may store data on secure servers located in Australia or overseas.
